The Raven
The Raven — Oath's Eye — is a permanent companion with its own levels, gear and skill. Epigraphs are items it equips, and those are the next section.
Three counters, and almost every guide confuses them
This is the thing to get straight before anything else. The Raven has three separate numbers that all look like levels, and they advance on different resources.
| Counter | Raised by | What it drives |
|---|---|---|
| Raven Level | Raven Fruit + Raven Essence | The Raven's own stats, a stat bonus to every hero, and the skill ladder |
| Raven Evolve Level | Raven Evolve Guide | Progress toward the next Evolve Stage |
| Raven Evolve Stage | Reaching an Evolve Level uncap | Epigraph plans and the Epigraph Boost |
The captured account sat at Raven Level 90 and Evolve Level 93 at the same moment, which is exactly the kind of coincidence that makes two tracks look like one. Where a number below says "Lv.", it says which counter it belongs to.
Fruit and Essence are available as soon as the Raven unlocks. Evolve arrives later — the Epigraph system and Plan 1 both open at Evolve Stage I, which is Evolve Lv.10, and on #217 that landed on server day 78 alongside the Epigraphs.
Raven Level buffs every hero, not just the Raven
The Raven Attributes panel states it directly: “Raven's attributes will be converted to all heroes' attributes at a certain rate during battle.” So this is a squad-wide stat source that applies in combat rather than on the hero's own stat page — it will not appear in an ATK figure read off a hero panel.
Captured in full, every fifth level from 5 to 250. The account was at Lv.90, the highlighted row.

| 250 | +2,971,530 | +21,825 | +20,637 |
The panel stops at 250, so Raven Level runs to at least there. A community calculator's slider stops at 200, which is that tool's range rather than the game's ceiling.
The Raven's skill — Raven Fireworks
One skill, upgraded at five fixed Raven Levels. The star rating on the Stats tab counts how many of the five you have.
| Raven Lv. | Effect added |
|---|---|
| 1 | Targets the 2 enemies with the highest HP, dealing 1184% ATK Physical DMG (CD: 13s) |
| 30 ★1 | Increases damage taken by affected targets by 12% for 5s |
| 50 ★2 | Deals 18% extra damage |
| 70 ★3 | Increases damage taken by affected targets by 15% for 5s |
| 90 ★4 | Extra damage increases to 36% |
| 110 ★5 | Increases damage taken by affected targets by 15% for 7s — the last entry on the ladder |
The base damage also scales with Raven Level independently of the stars: the same skill reads 1184% at Lv.1 and 1864.8% at Lv.90.
Raven Gear buffs your heroes too, and it has sides
Eight slots. Three run down the left of the portrait, three down the right, and two sit in the centre with arrows pointing into them from each side — so the centre pieces are gated on the outer ones rather than levelled freely. Each slot levels independently.
The captured account had every left-hand piece at Lv.7 and every right-hand piece at Lv.6, which is what a side-by-side upgrade path looks like. Its "Additional Stats" block then read: Hero DMG Dealt +2.5%, Hero HP +707,380, Hero ATK +2,429, Hero DEF +5,079, Raven ATK +4,573, Raven DEF +4,573, Raven HP +1,510,047.
An earlier capture at Lv.5–6 across all eight read: Hero DMG Dealt +2.5%, Hero HP +343,050, Hero ATK +2,286, Hero DEF +2,479, Raven ATK +4,315, Raven DEF +1,865, Raven HP +641,133. Worth noting that Hero DMG Dealt is +2.5% in both while everything else roughly doubled, so that one does not appear to scale with gear level.
Raven Level upgrade cost — Fruit and Essence
Three mechanics shape the table. Critical upgrades grant extra progress, letting you skip several stages inside one level. Every fifth level is a Key Upgrade (a Breakthrough) made of five phases, and criticals do not occur inside one — the Stats tab shows this as "Key Upgrade – Phase 3/5". Each phase costs reduced Fruit plus Essence, and the Essence cost climbs as Breakthrough Levels progress.
Between Breakthrough levels the cost holds steady for four rows at a time, so it is given here as ranges rather than row by row.
| Raven level range | Raven Fruit (per level) | Essence cost (per level) |
|---|---|---|
| 1–4 | 1,000 | 4,000 |
| 6–9 | 1,500 | 6,000 |
| 11–14 | 2,000 | 10,000 |
| 16–19 | 3,600 | 18,000 |
| 21–24 | 5,600 | 28,000 |
| 31–49 | 15.0K | 75,000 |
| 51–59 | 22.5K | 135,000 |
| 61–69 | 22.5K | 157,500 |
| 71–79 | 25.0K | 200,000 |
| 96–99 | 30.0K | 300,000 |
| 101–104, 106–109 | 30.0K | 375,000 |
| 111–114, 116–119 | 80.0K | 1,080,800 |
Breakthrough levels (5, 10, 15…) show only a Fruit cost — Lv5 costs 2,250 Fruit with no Essence line — alongside a counter (1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12…) that climbs at each milestone. What that counter measures is not stated, and it does not rise by a fixed amount (+1, +1, +2, +2, +2, +2, +2, +4…), so it is neither "breakthroughs completed" nor "stages completed" on any clean schedule. Reproduced as a fact of the source, not resolved.
The source data thins past Lv80: Lv81–94 carries no Fruit or Essence figures at all, and both stop being recorded past Lv130.
Raven Evolve — the stage ladder
Evolve is fed by an item called Raven Evolve Guide, and the panel is explicit about what it is for: “Keep raising your Raven Evolve level to uncap to higher stages. Uncappings also increase the Raven Epigraph Boost level, granting stat bonuses to your Epigraph Skills.”
Each uncap does two things at once — it opens the next Epigraph Plan and it raises the Epigraph Boost. That single fact resolves a disagreement between two community guides, one of which said these numbers unlock plans and the other that they unlock bonuses. Both were describing one ladder.
| Stage | Evolve Lv. | What it unlocks |
|---|---|---|
| I | 10 | Epigraph system · Epigraph Plan 1 |
| II | 150 | Epigraph Plan 2 · Epigraph Boost +1 |
| III | 300 | Epigraph Plan 3 · Epigraph Boost +2 |
| IV | 450 | Epigraph Plan 4 · Epigraph Boost +3 |
| V | 600 | Epigraph Boost +4 |
| VI | 750 | Epigraph Boost +5 |
| VII | 900 | Massive stats boost — Raven Might can rise by over 2M across Lv.751–900 |
Stage VII is the last entry on the panel. So 150, 300 and 450 are simply the second, third and fourth rungs of this ladder, not a separate system — and the ladder continues past them, which is why guides quoting only some of these numbers read as though they disagree.
A live Evolve panel read Stage I, Lv.93, 13900/14600 toward the next level, (Stage Uncap: Lv.150), with Raven HP 412,793, Raven ATK 2,435, Raven DEF 2,435 and Epigraph Bonus +0 — which is what Stage I pays, exactly as the ladder says. The per-level cost is not flat: it is 1,000 at Evolve Lv.2–8 and 14,600 by Lv.93.
Raven Evolve Guide is redeemable at the Alliance Shop, and offered through Daily Must-Buy and Weekly Special packs.
A plan applies to a queue, not to “your squad”
The Epigraph Plan screen shows four epigraph nodes — one top, one large centre, two bottom corners — above a queue of five heroes with a Change Queue button. So a plan's bonuses land on a named five rather than on whichever squad happens to be fighting, which matters for the squad builder.
Plans are selected by four markers beneath, I through IV, and on an account at Evolve Stage I the last three are padlocked — matching the stage ladder above exactly.
The four positions are class-locked
Each node takes one bonus class and nothing else. Tapping a slot opens a picker titled for that class — “Select an Attack Skill” — listing only your cards of it, split by faction tab. So a plan is one of each class, and the choice within a slot is which faction, not which class.
| Position | Class |
|---|---|
| Top | Attack |
| Centre (the large node) | Initiative |
| Bottom left | Defense |
| Bottom right | Support |
So Plan 1 holds four, and a community guide's “Plan 1 = 3 slots” is wrong. An emptied top slot still leaves four positions on the board, and four classes filling four nodes is the whole scheme — which also makes that guide's 5 and 6 slots for Plans 3 and 4 hard to credit without duplicates being allowed. The 3/4/5/6 ladder is not recorded here any more.
