Terms & Definitions

General terminology used across this page. Most of these are standard strategy-game or gaming terms rather than confirmed in-game mechanics — where a term names an actual in-game stat or research (e.g. Troop Load), the exact numbers it affects aren't sourced yet and are flagged rather than guessed.

Spending tiers 10 points
  • F2P (Free-to-Play) — playing without spending real money.
  • P2W (Pay-to-Win) — spending real money for a competitive advantage. Used descriptively on this page (e.g. progression tables split into F2P/light/mid/whale rows), not as a value judgement.
  • Whale — a heavy spender, informally the top end of the P2W spectrum.

Combat & stats

  • DPS (Damage Per Second) — sustained damage output over time, as opposed to a single big hit.
  • Might — this game's overall power score for a hero, account, or troop group; used throughout this page (e.g. Canyon Conquest fight ordering, Demon King rankings) to sort or gate participation.
  • Tier list (S/A/B/C/D) — a community ranking of relative strength, not an official in-game rating. See the evidence-tier badges on each guide for how reliable a given tier list is treated as.

Troops & marches

  • Troop Load — appears on this page as an Alliance Research tree item name. General genre convention is that it raises how many troops a single march or rally can carry, but this page doesn't yet have a screenshot confirming the exact numbers for this game — flagged rather than assumed.
  • March Capacity — the number of troops a single march (or a single hero's march) can carry. The Valley Skills tree (Crystal Cluster Valley guide) confirms one specific effect, "Single Hero March Capacity +50," inside that event only.
  • Rally — multiple players combining troops into a single attack against a stronger target; contrasted throughout this page with soloing (e.g. Demon King explicitly does not support rallies).
  • Fortifications ("troops on the wall") — troops can be actively deployed to defend, or left undeployed. Deployed troops fight and can die if you're attacked; undeployed troops aren't hit and can't be lost that way. Whether to deploy depends on the event — see Kingdom vs Kingdom and Undead Siege for when each is the right call.
Reserved for more terms as they come up — send any confusing abbreviation or in-game label and it gets added here rather than left unexplained inline.
