Build a squad

Two tanks hold the front. Faction bonuses reward stacking one colour.

A Demon King Blight turns the +50% counter bonus on in the suggester. The other purposes label the squad and nothing more.
Front rowTanks
Back rowDamage & support

Default recommendation: damage dealers in the first two back slots, support in the last one — it tends to be the last hero the enemy reaches.

  • !Your front row is not full. Two tanks up front, always.

The suggester checks every possible five from the heroes you own and keeps the one that deals the most damage — your recorded ATK times the biggest hit in each hero's kit, times the faction bonus. It also counts what a hero does for the other four: Bell's passive lifts every Ranger's ATK, Ash's lifts your two strongest Rangers against monsters, and heroes like those earn a slot without hitting hard themselves. Set the purpose to a Demon King Blight and it weighs the +50% a countering hero gets, which is why it will sometimes break a faction stack and sometimes not. Heroes with no ATK recorded are left out, and it says which. Below five recorded it falls back to ranking by rarity and tier, and says that too.

One simplification worth knowing: a hero's damage is taken as the biggest single hit in their kit. Combining five skills properly means modelling a rotation, and the game does not show enough to do that honestly.

How the faction bonus works

Three of one faction gives +5% HP, attack and defence — but if the other two heroes are a matched pair of one other faction, that rises to +10%. Four of one faction gives +15%. All five gives +20%, the strongest bonus available.

Source: in-game Faction Counter panel, confirmed July 2026. This corrects an earlier Discord guide (December 2025) that described the bonus as depending only on your largest faction's count — the in-game panel shows a genuine 3-and-2 split beats a scattered remainder.

Faction counter

Warriors take 20% less damage from Warlocks. Rangers take 20% less damage from Warriors. Warlocks take 20% less damage from Rangers. Put plainly: Ranger beats Warrior, Warrior beats Warlock, Warlock beats Ranger — bringing the counter faction to a fight is worth 20% less damage taken from that opponent.

Positioning

A tank placed in the back row won't be doing its job — it soaks damage later than it should. A carry placed in the front dies before it deals much. Default layout: two tanks up front, damage dealers in the first two back slots, support in the last back slot so it survives longest.
